Glendora came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the San Fernando Tigers 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Morgan Gonzalez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kaylie Winovitch, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Glendora pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for San Fernando, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Glendora has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Bishop Alemany on the 12th. As for San Fernando, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
