The Lakeview Gators''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Mansfield, falling 61-18. Lakeview has struggled against Mansfield recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Lakeview still got an impressive performance from Kaleb Collins, who rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 65 receiving yards. Collins was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 65 yards.
Terrence Pegues had a dynamite game for Mansfield, rushing for 165 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalvin " k2 " jackson, who gained 69 total yards and two touchdowns.
Lakeview's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5. As for Mansfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

As for Mansfield, they will be playing at home against Winnfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Winnfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
