Youngsville waltzed into their match  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  an   11-7  win over the Seneca Bobcats. With that  victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.3  runs per game.

 David Manning made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  6.1 innings while giving up  three earned  (and four unearned) runs off   seven  hits. He is becoming a predictor of Youngsville's success: when he posts  at  least ten  strikeouts the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Manning was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Talon Mesel, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Joshua Pikna, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
 Youngsville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Youngsville pushed their record up to 5-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Seneca,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-11.
