You can't lose the  contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Elkhorn Valley Falcons's strategy against the North Central Knights on Tuesday. Elkhorn Valley walked away with  a   59-48  victory over the Knights. Given Elkhorn Valley's advantage  in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings  (they are ranked 49th, while the Knights are ranked 204th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Kellyn Ollendick was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 32 points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season.  Dawson Hansen was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Elkhorn Valley and  bumps their season record up to 13-2. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Elkhorn Valley will head out on the road to  face off against  the Trojans at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for North Central, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against the Cougars at 7:00  p.m.
