Episcopal extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 6 this week by beating Ascension Catholic, 22-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Knights.
East Feliciana made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,230 from 8,246. The advance stemmed from a 42-12 victory over Redemptorist last week.
Redemptorist's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Wolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Russell Gage has thrown for 278 yards and 1 touchdown this season, while Jawaun Sanders has 11 catches for 181 yards. Gage also leads the league in rushing with 486 yards.
As it stands, the Tigers are in fourth, while Episcopal is in first.
Capitol led the league in scoring this week after putting up 43 points on Istrouma.
