St. Vincent-St. Mary has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 65-46 bruising from Western Reserve Academy on Saturday. St. Vincent-St. Mary was down 46-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Our Lady of the Elms earned a 33-21 win over the Patriots on Saturday.
Our Lady of the Elms' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Pilar Hampton, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, and Faith Farris, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. Hampton has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 14 times she's played.
