The St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Pleasanton 68-13 at home. The result was nothing new for St. Mary's-Colgan, who have now won eight matches by 35 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Mary's-Colgan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Harrell, who threw for 115 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Klayton Adamson, who gained 103 total yards and three touchdowns.
Although Pleasanton took the loss, they still got scores from Jeffry Cayton and Tony Gillespie.
St. Mary's-Colgan's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Pleasanton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
St. Mary's-Colgan will square off against Jayhawk Linn at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Pleasanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
