They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Non Varsity Opponent 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Quad Cities Christian has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Piper Ochkie, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Mikah Wolf, who scored four points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Quad Cities Christian pushed their record up to 16-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Non Varsity Opponent, their loss dropped their record down to 95-161.
Quad Cities Christian will be playing at home against Unity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Non Varsity Opponent on the road again on Tuesday and play against Birchwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Birchwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Tuesday.
