Unioto proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Westfall Mustangs 3-2. The Shermans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
KB Perkins made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
