Despite the loss, Caney Creek still got an impressive performance from Cayle Mcgee, who scored 15 points. The contest was Mcgee's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yeiry Zamudio, who scored 6 points.
Caney Creek has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
