Volleyball Recap: Palmyra Has No Trouble Against Weeping Water

Palmyra won the last time they faced Weeping Water and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

While Palmyra won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Weeping Water had strong showings from Ella Huskey, who had 13 digs and 13 assists, and Jaelis Brito- Diaz, who had 13 digs and one assist. Huskey has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Palmyra's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Weeping Water, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-20.

Coming up, Palmyra will square off against Johnson-Brock on Thursday. As for Weeping Water, they will head out on the road to square off against Mead at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
