Mt. Gilead suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 72-40 defeat at the hands of Northmor. Mt. Gilead was down 59-34 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Meanwhile, East Knox came up short against Fredericktown on Wednesday and fell 61-51. East Knox has struggled against Fredericktown recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Mt. Gilead's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for East Knox, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
Mt. Gilead beat East Knox 52-42 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Will Mt. Gilead repeat their success, or does East Knox have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
