Maury came tearing into  Monday's  contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Churchland Truckers with a sharp  3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Maury was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13,  25-9.
 Rahsan Spruill paced Maury's offense, picking up seven kills. Spruill got some help from  Sawyer Richard and his 26 assists.  Johnny March controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Maury's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Churchland,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maury will host Booker T. Washington  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Churchland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Denbigh  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
