After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palm Bay, the Port St. Lucie Jaguars were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bayside 74-38 on the road. With Port St. Lucie ahead 43-20 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Port St. Lucie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makhari Chambliss, who scored 24 points along with three steals. Chambliss continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Rodriguez, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds.
Port St. Lucie's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Bayside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
Port St. Lucie's road trip will continue as they head out to face Satellite at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Satellite will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Port St. Lucie surely won't give up without a fight. Bayside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
