Meanwhile, Tuscumbia earned a 61-48 win over Missouri Military Academy on Friday.
Among those leading the charge was Benley Boggs, who scored 23 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Damon Whittle, who scored 15 points.
La Monte's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-1. As for Tuscumbia, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
