Oklahoma School for the Deaf stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Kansas School for the Deaf 58-37. Oklahoma School for the Deaf's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
RyJan Reininger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Bodee Flanary, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, New Mexico School for the Deaf earned a 58-48 victory over the Leopards on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for New Mexico School for the Deaf.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf couldn't quite finish off the Roadrunners in their previous meeting back in February of 2022 and fell 34-32. Can Oklahoma School for the Deaf avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
