East Wake's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Southern Wayne, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Wake will take on C.B. Aycock at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (C.B. Aycock is ranked 304th, while East Wake is ranked 279th).
