Despite their defeat, Westwood saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kavian Bryant, who scored 26 points, was perhaps the best of all. Bryant has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chris Carter, who scored 14 points along with five assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Buffalo had to suffer through a rough 56-28 loss at the hands of Teague.
Westwood's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6. As for Buffalo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
Everything came up roses for Westwood against Buffalo in their previous matchup on January 2nd as the squad secured a 82-32 victory. With Westwood ahead 40-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
