Baseball Recap: DasCHE Takes a Loss

The DasCHE Spartans came up short against the Grace Prep Lions on Thursday and fell 10-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joseph Boyer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. DasCHE is 2-1 when Boyer posts two or more runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jackson Gardner, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

DasCHE's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Grace Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8-1 record this season.

DasCHE will be playing in front of their home fans against Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DasCHE is facing Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization at the right time seeing as Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grace Prep, they will head out on the road to square off against Fort Worth Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
