Price has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 13 times she's played. Jania Murphy was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
Smithfield's loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Oscar Smith, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Smithfield will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tabb at 7:00 p.m. As for Oscar Smith, they will head out on the road to challenge Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30.
