It was a good run, but The Batavia Blue Devils unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Honeoye Falls-Lima. The matchup was a 13-13 toss-up at halftime, but Batavia was outscored by Honeoye Falls-Lima in the second.
Matthew Meacham looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 171 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes.
Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, their win was their fifth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 8-2.
