The Trenton Tigers's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They breezed by Fort White on the road to the tune of 50-22. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.
Trenton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayley Sloan led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Karanja, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
The win got Trenton back to even at 1-1. As for Fort White, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Trenton will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dixie County at 6:30 p.m. As for Fort White, they will head out on the road to face off against Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
