The Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 65-28 victory over Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf on the road. The victory was nothing new for Marie Philip as they're now sitting on six straight.
Xavier DeLeon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with nine steals and five assists. DeLeon is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Novas, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds.
Marie Philip's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Marie Philip will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Waring at 5:30 p.m. Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Plants and Pillars HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
