The Harbor Creek Huskies had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairview on Friday and snuck past 42-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harbor Creek also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Harbor Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JT Delsandro, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Tucker Chwatek, who scored 16 points.
Harbor Creek's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Harbor Creek will head out on the road to face off against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fairview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Erie at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Erie and Fairview are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
