The Grace M. James Academy of Excellence GEMS are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Atherton Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Back in January, Grace M. James Academy of Excellence suffered a tough 73-48 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The loss put an end to Grace M. James Academy of Excellence's undefeated start to the season.
Meanwhile, Atherton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. Their rough 58-35 loss to Louisville Saints HomeSchool might stick with them for a while. Atherton was down 52-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Grace M. James Academy of Excellence's loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-1. As for Atherton, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
