After losing to Islands the last time they met, Johnson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Johnson Atomsmashers came out on top against the Islands Sharks by a score of  71-58  on Tuesday.
Johnson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Favion Kirkwood led the charge by  going 5 of 12  on his way to 15 points and four  steals. Kirkwood is  on a roll when it comes to  points, as he's  now  scored 15 or more in the last six games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Treshawn Robinson, who  went 5 for 11  en route to 13 points and five  assists.

 Johnson was working as a unit and  finished the game with 18  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Islands, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 13 of their last 16 contests,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record  this season.
 Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  66-55  victory against Beach on the 5th. As for Islands, they have also  already played their next game,  a  69-46  defeat against Calvary Day on the 7th.
