Boone Grove barely beat Kouts the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves put the hurt on the Mustangs & Fillies with a sharp 7-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 15 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Not much got past Seth Pitcock, who gave up just two hits to keep Kouts off the board.
On the hitting side, Tristan Wilson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Batesole, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
