The Grace Christian Patriots will face off against the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Santa Fe Catholic will be up against a hot Grace Christian squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Patriots put the hurt on Oasis Christian with a sharp 11-2 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Patriots have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Izzy Roman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Scarlet Corson was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brooke Purkey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe Catholic never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past Kathleen 15-0. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won eight in a row.
Like Grace Christian, Santa Fe Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Claire McGee. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. McGee was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with seven RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kindra Kelch, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Addison Richardson was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base.
Santa Fe Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Grace Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Santa Fe Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
