Assumption had a rough outing against Clear Creek-Amana two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Assumption took their match against Liberty last Thursday by a conclusive 27-0 score.
Meanwhile, North Scott put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Clear Creek-Amana 45-7. The victory was familiar territory for North Scott, who now have seven in a row.
Their wins bumped North Scott to 7-1 and Assumption to 4-4. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
