It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Cass Colonels ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They secured a 48-44 W over Riverdale.
Cass can attribute much of their success to Jakai Baldwin, who scored 15 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Comari Nettles, who scored 12 points.
Cass' win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Riverdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
