Tensas Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Claiborne Academy at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
After a disappointing 8 points in the matchup before, Tensas Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Rebul Academy two weeks ago. Tensas Academy took the matchup and then some with a 48-0 win over Rebul Academy. Followers of Tensas Academy probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Claiborne Academy received a tough blow last Friday as they fell 14-30 to Riverdale Academy.
Tensas Academy's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Claiborne Academy's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if Tensas Academy's success rolls on or if Claiborne Academy are able to steal their positive momentum.
