Spring Valley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bridgeport Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Timberwolves have posted since May 1, 2024.

Garrett Wagoner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Spring Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonah Harrold, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Spring Valley's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Spring Valley will welcome Wheeling Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridgeport, they will head out on the road to take on Cabell Midland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
