Bradshaw Mountain posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 64-30 victory over Mingus. Given Bradshaw Mountain's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Mingus is ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mason Hunt was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Preston Ranniker, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Prescott came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 67-63 W over Coconino.
Bradshaw Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Prescott, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
