Meghan McClellan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against West Clermont back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. McClellan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, McClellan and Milford are taking a road trip to square off against Loveland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are a perfect 10-0 against the Tigers going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
