A Season-Best Performance from Dreandre Bruton Leads Piedmont over Eisenhower
On Friday, Piedmont got the W thanks in part to DreAndre Bruton playing the best football he has all season. Bruton rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
The victory (which was Piedmont's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Bruton and Piedmont will take on Southmoore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Morgan Posts Huge Game in 35-28 Victory
Mayor Morgan's big game helped extend Choctaw's winning streak to four on Thursday. Morgan turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
On the season, Morgan has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 36.3 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had seven rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 13.

Jayden Fuston Makes It Two for Piedmont
The second Piedmont player making an appearance here is Jayden Fuston, and for good reason. He rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.
This year, Fuston has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 126.3 rushing yards per game.

Stillwater Gets a Boost from Schubert in 35-28 Loss
While Mason Schubert delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Stillwater. Schubert was dynamite, throwing for 302 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown.
The defeat snapped Stillwater's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. Schubert and Stillwater will head out to face off against Putnam City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ladarren Shoels Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Putnam City got the W thanks in part to LaDarren Shoels playing the best football he has all season. Shoels rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This year, Shoels has run in those 2 touchdowns while averaging 33.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 14.67 rushing yards per game.
