Basketball Recap: Southwest Leadership Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Western Scitech

Southwest Leadership Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 1-0 to the Western SciTech Aztec Warrior. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztec Warrior apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Leadership Academy will face off against BASIS - Peoria at 6:30 p.m. on the 11th. As for Western SciTech, they will square off against South Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
