Adams Central took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grand Island Central Catholic. Adams Central's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Grand Island Central Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryndal Moody out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. Moody hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Carolyn Maser was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 14 rebounds and five steals.
Adams Central's defeat ended a 17-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Grand Island Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home.
