Carmi-White County had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 0-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sesser-Valier. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Carmi-White County off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Sesser-Valier a 1-0 record.
Next week, Carmi-White County take on Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton at 7:00 PM. As for Sesser-Valier, they will face off against Edwards County.
