Southeast Halifax's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Trayvese Silver, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Jayvion Demery who scored 15 points. Silver is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.
North Edgecombe's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. As for Southeast Halifax, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.
North Edgecombe will take on Northwest Halifax at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Edgecombe's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
