After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Port Huron Northern, Lutheran North was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Hartland Eagles.
 If you add up the scores from across all three sets (59-54) Lutheran North actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-19,  17-15.
  Grace Tobey was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had six  digs and 11  assists.
 Lutheran North's victory bumped their record up to 22-10-1. As for Hartland, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 12 of their last 14 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-18-4 record  this season.
 Lutheran North has already played their next game,  a  2-0  defeat against Detroit Country Day on the 24th. Hartland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
