Johnson dropped down to 11-14 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Clear Springs Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

Kya FLores paced Johnson's offense, picking up 11 kills. FLores got some help from Madi Adkins and her 13 assists.

As for Clear Springs, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since August 15th.

Clear Springs can attribute much of their success to Lianna Kearns, who had 23 digs and one assist. Those 23 digs gave Kearns a new career-high.

Johnson has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Georgetown on the 30th. As for Clear Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against College Park on the 30th.
