Dublin Coffman had lost 11 games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 7-18 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Westerville North Warriors with a sharp 8-1 victory. The Shamrocks not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18th (when they won 12-2).
Holden Wilcox made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Wilcox was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Danny Briggs and Drew Walti did most of the damage at the plate: Briggs went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Walti went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Walti has posted since back in April.
