The Largo Packers posted their biggest win since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-38 win over Palm Harbor University at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Largo.
Largo got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Ellis out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Ellis is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenyon Boswell, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Largo pushed their record up to 11-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Palm Harbor University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Largo will head out on the road to face off against East Lake at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. East Lake is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Palm Harbor University, they will be playing at home against Steinbrenner at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Steinbrenner has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14.
