Make it ten blowout wins for the Coolidge Bears this season. They claimed a resounding 66-36 victory over Crismon on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-18.
Coolidge's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adarius Miguel, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miguel has scored all season. Ja'kwan Jordan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Crismon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew LeMaster, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Charlie Whitsell, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Coolidge has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Crismon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coolidge is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Talan Speir and Tory Gholston. As for Crismon, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Paradise Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rattlers in Arizona (the Trojans are ranked 135th, while the Rattlers are ranked 278th).
