Williston has gone 6-1 against Hawthorne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mighty Red Devils will welcome the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Williston barely beat Lake Weir the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mighty Red Devils never let the Hurricanes get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Mighty Red Devils have won by exactly 11 runs.
Aiden Phillips made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Williston is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 6-9 otherwise. Phillips was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
