Ware County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Coffee Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coffee took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ware County, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Ware County was able to grind out a solid victory over Bradwell Institute, taking the game 43-31.
Coffee suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 67-44 defeat at the hands of Statesboro. While losing is never fun, Coffee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Statesboro is ranked 40th).
Ware County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Coffee, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Ware County was able to grind out a solid victory over Coffee in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 53-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ware County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
