If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Orcutt Academy. On Friday they take on Kings Christian at 7:00 PM. Kings Christian will need to watch out since Orcutt Academy have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Everything came up roses for Orcutt Academy against Riverdale Christian last Friday as the squad secured a 42-0 victory. Senior Max Daniels, who rushed for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Orcutt Academy's success.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing 7 points in the match before, Kings Christian made sure to put some points up on the board against Alpaugh. Kings Christian put the hurt on Alpaugh with a sharp 60-28 win. With Kings Christian ahead 29-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Orcutt Academy to 4-1 and Kings Christian to 2-3. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Kings Christian and Orcutt Academy will really light up the scoreboard.
