Basketball Recap: Douglas Beats Cody for Their 20th Straight Victory

Douglas had won 19 straight games and Lauren Olsen did her part to make it 20 on Saturday. The Douglas Bearcats had just enough and edged out the Cody Broncs 58-55 which was due in part to Olsen, who went 10-for-19 en route to 30 points and three steals. Her big performance that morning made it 45 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Meyer, who posted 13 points and five boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Cody, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 22-5 record.

As of now, neither Douglas nor Cody have any future games scheduled.
