Sherwood extended the longest winning streak in 5A Northwest Oregon this week by beating Sandy, 55-20. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Wilsonville took down Liberty 45-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Derek Sunkle ran for 215 yards and caught 1 pass for 14 yards in the win.
The Wildcats' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Elijah Benedick threw for 151 and 1 touchdown and Brandon Chao had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Sunkle contributed 215 yards. Cole Wilson helped Wilsonville's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 37 yards.

Sunkle was a force in the backfield as Adam Guenther's team bested Liberty.
Sunkle provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Wildcats beat Eric Mahlum's team. Sunkle's favorite target this week was Chao, who caught 4 passes for 73 yards.
Parkrose's Jonathan Boland and Marshawn Edwards led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Boland has thrown for 1,687 yards this season, while Edwards has 36 catches for 431 yards. Sunkle from Wilsonville leads the league in rushing with 1,253 yards.
The Wildcats are currently in fourth, while Sandy is in second.
The Broncos and St. Helens played the closest game in the league this week, with the Broncos eventually emerging with a 37-32 victory.
