The Havre de Grace Warriors on the road again on Monday and play against the Fallston Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Havre de Grace suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 59-29 loss at the hands of Edgewood. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Havre de Grace has suffered against Edgewood since January 26, 2017.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Fallston's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Patterson Mill.
Despite the loss, Fallston got a solid performance out of Ayla Galloway, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Galloway is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Natalie Wirth, who scored three points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Havre de Grace's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Fallston, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.
Havre de Grace lost to Fallston on the road by a decisive 48-33 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Havre de Grace avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
